Such Great Heights
Tokyo.
This is one of my favorite pictures that I took in Japan - a panorama of three different pictures from the 45th floor of the Tokyo Tower. When I look at this picture, I don’t think of the spectacular view, but I think of the millions of unsaved people represented in this picture.
There is a real Jesus awakening in much of Asia. China, Korea, Indonesia, and many other asian countries are experiencing thousands come to know Christ every single day. Just in half a century, Korea went from just a handful of believers to being over 50% Christian today. However, Japan has been resisting the Gospel, and only have less than 1% of the population as professing Christians.
My mission trip may be over, but I printed this picture and placed it on my wall so that I will remember those in Japan who do not yet know Jesus. Even though the nation may be unbelieving now, there will come a day when God will reign over that island!
